Jean-Charles Potvin, Hon. B.Sc., MBA
Position: Chairman

Mr. Potvin is currently Chairman of Tiomin Resources Inc. Mr. Potvin most recently served Tiomin as Executive Chairman, after holding positions as Chief Executive Officer and President.

Until January 1994, Mr. Potvin was a director and Vice-President of Burns Fry Limited (now Nesbitt Burns Inc.) where he evaluated worldwide mining investment opportunities. He had also been involved in securing financing for a number of North American gold producers. From 1994 he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Pangea Goldfields Inc., which had extensive holdings in Tanzania, until its acquisition in July 2000 by Barrick Gold Corporation for $204 million.

As well, Mr. Potvin is President of Rukwa Uranium, a private uranium exploration company.

He is a director of Gold Reserve Corporation, a public natural resource company with holdings in Venezuela, and of Azimut Exploration Inc., a Canadian mineral exploration company that maximizes the probability of discoveries by utilizing a cutting-edge targeting methodology.

Mr. Potvin holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Carleton University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Ottawa.

 
Robert Jackson M.Sc., MBA & CFA, P.Eng.
Position: President & CEO, Director

Mr. Jackson has 30 years of experience in the mining and investment banking industries. Most recently, Mr. Jackson was Executive Vice President of Corporate Development of Jaguar Mining Inc., a Canadian gold producer with operations in Brazil. Previous employers included Falconbridge Limited, Burns Fry Limited, S.G. Warburg Limited and Midland Walwyn Capital Inc. He currently serves on the Boards of Axmin Inc., Freegold Ventures Limited and Radiant Resources Inc. and is an advisor to Augen Capital Corp.

Mr. Jackson is a qualified mining engineer with an MBA from the University of Western Ontario and he is also a Chartered Financial Analyst®.

 
Roland Bertin
Position: Director

Mr. Roland Bertin, retired, had worked for many years in the investment field. He was with Nesbitt Burns Inc., formerly Burns Fry Limited, for forty years and retired in 1994 from the organization. While at Burns Fry, Mr. Bertin was Director of Research and later Director and Chairman of the Risk Management Committee. He sits on the board of directors of Mapleridge Capital Corporation, of Home & Ease Inc. and of Cougar Global Investments. He is also a director of The St. Francis Assisi Foundation, a charitable organization.

 
Mario Caron
Position: Director

Mr. Caron is President, CEO and a Director of AXMIN Inc. (AXM-TSX Venture), an exploration company with a track record of finding and developing mines in Africa. Prior to joining AXMIN in January 2008, Mr. Caron was President and CEO of Tiberon Minerals Ltd., a former Toronto listed company developing a large tungsten fluorite deposit in Vietnam. Mr. Caron's African experience includes being Vice President of Defiance Mining Corporation, which held the Tasiast gold project in Mauritania, and President and CEO of Eden Roc Mineral Corp., a gold producer in Côte d'Ivoire. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering, Mining from McGill University in Montréal.Mr. Caron joined the Tiomin Resources Board on January 1, 2009.

 
Paul Fortin
Position: Director

Mr. Fortin is currently a director and General Manager of Gecamines, a copper and cobalt mining company owned by the Democratic Republic of Congo, a position he has held since January 2006. He is an experienced international mining lawyer who was previously General Counsel for Gold Fields Limited and who has advised Barrick Gold Corporation. He was previously a director of Tiomin Kenya Limited and General Manager of the Kwale Project.

 
Donald Worth, P.Eng.
Position: Director

From 1964 until his retirement in 1997, Mr. Worth was employed with the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, most recently as Vice-President, Global Mining Group. Mr. Worth is the immediate Past President of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum and is currently a director of Canarc Resource Corp. and Consolidated Nevada Goldfields Corp.
